Pastor Richard K. Folger
Kentucky & Ohio Baptist Pastor

      Richard K. Folger was born on June 24, 1929 in Cleveland, Ohio to Orlando E. and Wanda W. Allender Folger. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.

      He and his wife, Elaine (nee Lamb), had a son and three daughters: Randy, Sandy, Shari and Susan.

      Since 1956, Pastor Folger has been serving the Lord. He attended Lexington Baptist College (KY). He pastored the Olmstead Baptist Church, in Logan County, KY and the Immanuel Baptist Church, Monticello, KY, for twenty-two years. While at Immanuel Baptist Church, they built the Mountain View Baptist Camp, south of the city. He pastored the Mansfield Baptist Temple until he retired in 1994. He loved preaching and serving as an interim pastor for churches after his retirement. He died in 2014 at the age of 84.
