THE REV. R. W. MAHAN DIES AT CLINTON

Paducah, Ky., Feb. 6. The Rev. R. W. Mahan, a prominent Baptist preacher, died at his home in Clinton from the infirmities due to old age. He was a Confederate soldier, being a lieutenant in Company C, Eighth Kentucky infantry. He was seventy-two years old and left a family, including two sons, the Rev. Robert Mahan, of Clinton, and the Rev. T. C. Mahan, an evangelist in Arkansas.
