Bro. Wilson was born in Beulah, Kentucky in 1922 and died October 11, 2007.
He was pastor of the Bible Baptist Church of Clarksville, Tennessee for 29 years and was President of Clarksville Baptist College,
operated by the church. The school began as a special Monday night Bible study for regional Baptist pastors and Sunday School teachers.
The Bible Baptist Academy was also started by the church for elementary and senior high school students.
His first wife, Rachel Dean Courtney Wilson, died and he remarried a deceased Baptist pastor's wife. He and his wife, Rachel, had two
son, Leon and Donnie. Pastor Elton Wilson was 85 years old and in a Clarksville nursing home when he passed away. He was buried in Beulah Baptist Church
Cemetery, Fancy Farm, Ky.
